• "Oh, you wouldn't happen to know what the, umm, The Nerd gave you. Which pill it was?" The Stranger asks while still trying to untie his dog's leash. It takes me a few seconds to respond as his voice sounds very far away even if he's just off the side of the road. I happen to be in the middle of the street now, yet he sounds as if he's a couple of houses over. Also his voice sounds different too. Instead of the cool and calm man, it sorts fuzzy and distorted.
• "I...n-no. He just said he took it for...for...his kidney pain, I think," I explain, trying to remember what the Nerd told me. It's hard to remember, not just because of how I feel at the moment, but because of what was happening at the time.
• My head becomes super lightheaded now. It feels like the pill is fully kicking in now, making me feel like I'm floating a few inches off the ground. A positive sense of well-being seems to move over me now. It starts at my head and goes down, like water in a shower. It makes all of me feel good and happy, not to mention light, as if I could float away at any moment.
