• "Get me out of here," Marybeth whispered in a panicked voice. Her bewilderment was enough to prompt Austin into action. He grabbed her hand and forced his way through the crowd, leading her to a veranda overlooking the vineyards rolling in the distance.
• "Žena," Austin said, holding her face in his hands. "You need to breathe. Just breathe, sweet Beth. Just breathe."
